About Dominic Nessi

Dominic “Dom” Nessi is an author, photographer, and lifelong traveler who has visited more than 135 countries, including many of the world’s greatest wonders. His extensive travels have taken him to archaeological sites, historic cities, national parks, and remote landscapes around the world—experiences that have helped shape both his photography and his fiction.

An accomplished photographer, Dominic’s work has appeared in publications by other authors and has been used for postcards, cover art, and a variety of other products. His photography is featured in his online gallery at FreedomPhotos.net, and many of the images throughout the Source Matrix were taken during his travels.

The Source Trilogy reflects his fascination with the intersection of science, archaeology, history, and the unexplained. Drawing on real-world locations, scientific ideas, and his own experiences around the world, the novels explore a larger question: How much of humanity’s past remains undiscovered—and what might that mean for our future?

Professionally, Dominic has spent much of his career at the intersection of technology, government, aviation, and cybersecurity. He served as Deputy Executive Director and Chief Information Officer of Los Angeles World Airports, where he led major technology initiatives and helped advance approaches to aviation cybersecurity. Earlier in his career, he served as the first Chief Information Officer of the U.S. National Park Service and as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Native American Programs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Today, he works as an aviation cybersecurity consultant.
