SILENCE OF THE SOURCE

BOOK THREE

A Novel of Science, Memory, and a Changing Planet

AVAILABLE IN WINTER 2026-2027

The world is ending.

Across the globe, catastrophic events erupt almost simultaneously. Ancient landscapes fracture. Seas and ice shift. Systems humanity has always taken for granted begin to fail. What first appear to be unrelated disasters soon reveal something far more terrifying: the planet itself is changing, and no one knows how to stop it.

Five years after the events of Echo of the Source, Chris Whiting has devoted himself to understanding the ancient network and the knowledge left to him by the Source. At the same time, Victoria Brown has transformed the remnants of Helios into an international nonprofit dedicated to repairing the damage it caused and protecting the ancient sites now known to be part of the planetary network. When disturbing anomalies begin appearing at sites thousands of miles apart, their paths converge—and the search for answers stretches from the primordial rock of Greenland to Antarctica and some of humanity's oldest and most mysterious places.

But they are not the only ones who understand what has been discovered. Rogue nation-state actors have learned of the network's existence, and they see in it something far more valuable than knowledge: a means of controlling forces that have shaped the planet for millennia. As the story races toward the catastrophe we know is coming, Chris and Victoria must discover what the network was truly built to do—and why something that has endured for millennia is beginning to fall silent. Because this time, the Source may not be able to save them.

Two people holding hands in a destroyed cityscape with a large, fiery, exploding planet or asteroid in the sky, and dark stormy clouds.
